Job description
As an Associate DevOps Engineer at Momentus Technologies, you will help manage, optimize,
and scale our systems and applications. You’ll work independently, bring new ideas to the table, and ensure
that our infrastructure is reliable, secure, and efficient. You will also support our CI/CD pipelines and
cloud deployments.
Key responsibilities
- Work independently, managing tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
- Contribute process improvements and technical innovations.
- Communicate effectively with different technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Use scripting or OOP to automate tasks and workflows.
- Manage and query SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Write complex SQL queries for analytics and data processing.
- Monitor and maintain system performance using infrastructure tools.
- Deploy and manage cloud services via Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Apply networking principles to ensure secure system communications.
- Use Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
- Explain technical problems and solutions clearly across contexts.
Qualifications
- 6 months+ relevant experience
- Fluent in English
- College degree
- Available for on-call rotations (1 weekend every 7 weeks)
- Skilled in scripting or Object-Oriented Programming
- Skilled in SQL/NoSQL and writing complex queries
- Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools
- Familiar with Azure, AWS, or GCP
- General understanding of networking principles
- Experience with Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
